Frailty/Fragilità

Frailty lingers in the cracks on your face,
those made of laughter and tears.
Frailty is stuck under your nails,
whenever you bury your fingers in tender hopes
leaving marks that need more than time to heal.
Frailty is fear dressed up as boldness.
You hide it with the wrong mask.
Frailty is clinging on to a dream of happiness
hanging precariously
from a thin thread made of wishes
upon falling stars:
genuine debris of the universe.
Frailty is the false image of a crush disguised as love:
bits and scraps of fantasies
we desire to be true for a change.

TRADUZIONE
appeso precariamente
a un sottile filo fatto di desideri
su stelle cadenti:
detriti genuini dell'universo.
